Creator Agreement

Last updated 26 October 2026

This agreement applies when you publish and sell writing on ArtiStanza. It adds to our Terms of Service, and where the two conflict on creator matters, this agreement applies.

1. Who can be a creator

  • You must have an account in good standing and comply with the Terms of Service.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and to receive payouts. If you are below the age of legal majority, you may only sell with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your payout and tax details.

2. Your content and the licence you give us

You keep ownership of everything you publish. You grant ArtiStanza a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display and deliver your content to the readers you make it available to, including through previews, downloads and the Service’s pages. This licence ends when you delete the content, apart from limited backup copies and records we must keep by law.

You confirm you own your content or have all rights needed to sell it, including for any translations, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break any law.

3. Pricing and access

  • You decide what is free and what is paid, and the prices for your unlocked works and membership tiers.
  • Prices are set in US dollars (USD) unless the Service states otherwise.
  • You can change your prices at any time; changes apply to future purchases and renewals.

4. Fees

For each reader payment for your content, you receive the share we have agreed with you, and ArtiStanza retains the rest as its platform commission. The platform’s standard commission is 10%, but your rate is the one set out in your own agreement with us and may be different. The commission is calculated on the amount actually paid and is deducted at the time of payment. Your current rate is shown in your Studio under earnings; contact us if you believe it is wrong.

5. Payouts

  • Payouts are made monthly, in USD, to the payout details you provide.
  • We may hold a payout until your balance meets any minimum threshold applied by the payment provider, and until your payout and tax details are complete.
  • You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings.
  • Refunds, reversals and chargebacks on your content are deducted from your balance, along with the platform fee on the reversed amount.

6. Content standards

You must not publish content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative of minors. We may remove content or suspend or close your account if you break these standards, and we may withhold payouts connected to content that is unlawful or obtained by breaking these rules.

7. Readers’ rights

When a reader pays for your content, they receive a personal, non-transferable licence to read it for their own use. You may not withdraw content a reader has paid for in a way that removes their access to what they already bought.

8. Ending this agreement

You may stop selling at any time by unpublishing your content. Either side may end this agreement if the other breaks it. On ending, we will pay any balance that is properly owed, after the deductions above, once applicable holds have cleared.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee sales or income. To the extent allowed by law, our liability on creator matters is limited to the fees you paid to us in the three months before the claim.

10. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Nepal have exclusive jurisdiction.
